- 1978 Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade
- 1986 Completed Master’s degree in Urology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade
- 1991 Earned PhD degree at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade with the thesis: “Assessment of Testicular Function (Spermatogenic and Endocrine) in Infertile Men with Varicocele”
- 1998 Appointed Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade

- 1996–2002 Head of Department, Institute of Urology and Nephrology
- 2002–2009 Deputy Director, Institute of Urology and Nephrology
- 2009–2012 Director of the Clinic of Urology, Clinical Center of Serbia
Prof. Dr. Cane Tulić is one of the pioneers in the development of ultrasound diagnostics and its application in interventional urology and uroradiology in Serbia. Throughout his distinguished career, he has significantly contributed to the advancement of clinical practice through the improvement of standard procedures and the introduction of new methods in reconstructive surgery.
He is the author of approximately 300 scientific and professional papers, one monograph, and 16 chapters in books and textbooks. His scientific and professional work focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of male infertility, benign prostate tumors, and urologic oncology, with special emphasis on early detection, surgical treatment, and follow-up of patients with prostate, bladder, and kidney cancer.
He has also served as a mentor and member of committees for master’s theses and doctoral dissertations at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade.
