Prof. dr sci. med. Dušan Stanojević

Education:
- 1974 – Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade, with a GPA of 8.80.
- 1983 – Completed residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- 1996 – Earned a PhD from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade.
- 2009 – Appointed Full Professor.
Professional Experience:
- 1979 – Physician at the University Clinic of Gynecology and Obstetrics “Narodni front”, Belgrade, where he has built a distinguished career and become one of Serbia’s leading experts in gynecologic surgery.
- Throughout his career, he has performed between 600 and 800 major gynecological procedures annually, with extensive experience in complex surgical interventions.
- He currently serves as a Senior Medical Consultant, providing expert opinions and contributing his extensive clinical experience to the management of complex gynecological conditions.
Professional Training and Achievements:
- In 1997, he performed the first laparoscopically assisted vaginal hysterectomy (LAVH) in Serbia, making a significant contribution to the development of minimally invasive gynecologic surgery in the country.
- He actively participates in the education of young physicians and the advancement of modern gynecologic surgery.
Scientific and Professional Activities:
Prof. Stanojević is the author of numerous scientific papers and professional publications in the field of obstetrics and gynecology, with a particular focus on gynecologic surgery and minimally invasive surgical techniques.
