Professional Experience:
- since 1998 Narodni Front University Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics
Specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics with extensive experience in reproductive medicine, infertility, and gynecological diagnostics. Throughout her career at Narodni Front, she has held numerous clinical and leadership positions, including Head of the Preoperative Department, Head of the Department for Conservative Infertility Treatment, and Head of the Day Hospital for more than ten years. She also serves as a professional consultant at Narodni Front. - 2013 to 2019 Associate Professor, Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade. Actively involved in the education and training of medical students and physicians in the field of gynecology and obstetrics at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Currently serves as Head of the Department for Specialist Education in Gynecology and Obstetrics – Department of Human Reproduction, Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade.
She served two terms as President of the National Expert Commission for IVF, Gynecology and Obstetrics. She is actively engaged in clinical and scientific work through numerous national and international congresses, educational programs, and research projects.
She is the author and co-author of more than 150 scientific and professional publications, as well as numerous papers and publications in the fields of reproductive medicine, contraception, sexual and reproductive health, HPV, infertility, and gynecological ultrasound diagnostics. She is a board member of the international Diczfalusy Foundation, former ESC board member, and founder and president of the Association for Reproductive Health.
Prof. Dr. Ana Mitrović Jovanović has participated multiple times in the organization of national and international congresses and symposia as president of organizing committees, lecturer, and moderator of numerous scientific sessions. As an invited speaker, she has delivered more than 100 accredited lectures at national and international professional meetings. She is also a mentor for PhD, master’s, academic specialist, subspecialty, and student research projects.
She completed advanced professional training at renowned institutions in Serbia and abroad, including Harvard, Hadassah, UCLA, Baden, Royal College London, and the European Academy of Gynecological Surgery. She is the recipient of numerous national and international awards and recognitions.
Areas of Special Interest:
Reproductive medicine, endometriosis, perimenopausal transition, menopause, infertility, in vitro fertilization (IVF), PCOS, HPV, gynecological ultrasound diagnostics, colposcopy, as well as the minimally invasive gynecological procedures like hysteroscopy and laporoscopy.
